Hi, my name is Ganeshhinny, a final year Animation student from Asia Pacific University.

Being an art student was something I’ve never thought about. The journey started when I was 16 in high school, after passing through a huge thing in my life. I started off being a Graphic Designer for two years which has instigated me to become an Animator to pursue my studies in the future.

Those two years have taught me to make simple animations. Thus, the journey has been a continuous development like developing my skills, abilities, and qualifications tremendously.

Through the entire experience of being able to animate things, my preference has mainly turned towards 2D and being a 2D Animator. In my opinion, an animator has to be hardworking, dedicated, passionate and a creative person, which resonates much with my personality as a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate when it comes to my work.

That’s been said as the reflection of my initial works along with my own attempts to express myself and on what I can do after being an Art Student for about 6 years of my lifetime experiences.

PROJECT TITLE

This animation is a narrative based animation short film which consists of 3D and 2D animation in the film. The environment of this animation is built with 3D software while the characters are animated with 2D software. This project is done to seek for the fun of doing mixture of 2D & 3D animation. This project is also done to showcase the cinematography in this animation project. Cinematography takes a very important role in my animation as it tells a lot of information of the film.

Hi, I am Adrian Au, a final year Animation student from Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT).

I’m a person who likes to create interesting animation with my developed knowledge about this area that I gained during these 3 years of studies. I often challenge myself and push my ability beyond my limits to make more interesting and creative animation projects.

Challenges motivate me not only throughout my journey in this course but also in my life events. Even though my studies come to the end, I will keep working on new projects and produce more and more quality works, despite all the challenges waiting for me.

PROJECT TITLE

Hello, my name is Sondous Elwakil, a final year animation student at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology.

Since a young age, I liked to sketch random stuff and that helped me later to seek a path in animation. I always enjoyed watching 2D animation and wanted to do the same, but after taking my degree I realized that creating things in 3D is more fun than I thought it would be. Now I’m developing myself by modelling 3D characters & environments since that’s what I aspire to do in the future.

It has been a long and short journey being a student. I got to know cool classmates, friends, and lecturers that I learned a lot from. There have been ups and downs through the 3 years but I’m glad that we could figure it out together.

PROJECT TITLE

The area study in this Individual Animation Project I chose is 3D modeling. The objective of this project is to design a brand new game character based on the style of League of Legends. League of Legends is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) type game. The character design of this game is very diverse and they are not limited to humans, they can also be fantasy creatures. Therefore, I will design a fantasy-type demi character and give the character a distinctive appearance design.

Hi, my name is Shirley Sii Xue Lin and I’m a final year Animation student at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology.

As an Animation student, I learned how to make 2D and 3D animations, and explored my own strengths during university. I was also appointed as the storyboard leader in this final project and was responsible for part of the 3D modeling work.

I really like making animation whether it’s 2D or 3D, and when interacting with the team members during the production process, we get to know each other, understand our abilities, and improve our own work efficiency, so as to do a better job.

Just like the quote from Antoine Griezmann: “With hard work and effort, you can achieve anything”, I will try my best to achieve whatever I want.

PROJECT TITLE

Hello, my name is Karina. I am a creative and passionate Animation student in my final year at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology.

My main interest is writing exciting stories and creating both digital 2D and 3D animations. I love making animations and finding unique materials for projects.

Animation movies and books were my passion and love from my school days. An animation is a tool that creates new characters, rules, and worlds. Animation is a way to escape reality and find a place in your childhood dreams. All of this inspires me to work harder to bring to life the words of fairy tail on paper and present it on the screen to people.
